Merry Christmas Monsieur Hulot

A snowflake in the Parisian sky…

This morning, as Mr. Hulot shares his toast with a couple of pigeons, a Christmas bauble falls to the ground. Then another. His tree slouches, like an ailing old man. Always kind-hearted, Mr. Hulot decides to save the tree.

With the help of his dachshund Dacky and his young neighbor Louis, he plants the tree right in the middle of the roundabout, the only patch of soil in this urban environment. At first, the residents view this “new neighbor” with a rather amused eye, except for the mayor…

As the seasons pass, the tree grows, and it keeps growing… It grows so much that the following Christmas brings the first hurdles. First, a branch blocks the brewery delivery; then a second one obscures the traffic light, causing a small accident and a cheerful mess!

The decision is made to cut down the tree! However, that’s not accounting for Hulot, his accomplices, a touch of love, and magic… In a snowy Paris where the mountain has unexpectedly appeared, amidst funny and poetic misadventures, Mr. Hulot will take us through a true Christmas tale and transform the life of the small square into a perpetual “Jour de Fête” !
